Tea-Scented Couscous

Ingredients

  • 1 can (445 mL.) chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 Lipton® Green Tea with Mandarin Orange Pyramid Tea Bags
  • 1 box (300 mL.) couscous
  • 1/2 cup golden raisins
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/3 cup toasted sliced almonds

Directions

  1. Bring broth and water to a boil over high heat in medium saucepan. Remove from heat. Add Lipton® Green Tea with Mandarin Orange Pyramid Tea Bags; cover and brew 5 minutes. Remove Tea Bags and squeeze. Stir in couscous, raisins, olive oil and salt. Cover and let stand 5 minutes. Just before serving, stir in green onions and almonds.
